The nature of her birth is fairly ambiguous, but it is seen that she has long existed for the sake of the Tethys System, and later the sake of the Black Shores.

Analytical, pragmatic, but not without sentimentality after having learned the beauty and depth of emotions upon crossing paths with the Astral Modulator. Though she places her duty and responsibilities first and foremost, she cares deeply for those of the Black Shores and is vehement on ensuring that if anyone is to come to harm--That it will only be her that suffers. She takes oaths and promises incredibly seriously, having maintained and upheld a promise she made long ago.
